We the parish family of St. Joachim & St. Joseph of the Archdiocese of St. Louis are a people with a heritage of faith, encouraged by the tradition of Christian hospitality, caring and love toward our neighbor. We are committed to continue to support each other on our pilgrim journey to the Father. In response to God's Word, we strive through a Sacramental Life to bring all to a fuller understanding of God's Love by praying, teaching and by witnessing to Christ in the service of one another.
New changes are in place for the event this year. The theme is “Jesus Rocks”, with a 1950s décor. Wear your poodle skirts, jeans, and 50's hairdo!. A limited number of tickets will be sold in advance for $20 per person. The cost includes a full meal: pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a roll, dessert, and root beer floats.
Reserve your seats now by filling out the form below and return it to school, or by calling 438-3973.
Tickets at the door sell for $25, and once they run out, standing room only tickets that do not include dinner are $15.
Due to the limited number of seating available, the auction is an adults-only event this year. Babysitting is provided for $5.00 per child for school, PSR, and parish families.
Doors open at 5 p.m. The silent auction tables will close at varied times, with the last table ending at 7 p.m., just before the live auction begins.
Once again, we will be selling Out of Uniform passes for $20 each, and each classroom will be providing both a unique piece of art and a themed basket for the auction. We will have a special section full of “buy it now” Easter baskets and gift certificates.
The dinner and auction is the school’s most important fund-raiser. The event has grown in size and in revenue each year thanks, in large part, to our dedicated parishioners and friends. We hope this year will be no different.
You can support the auction by purchasing an advertisement or sponsorship, donating an item to the event, purchasing raffle tickets, and spreading the word about our event.
No donation is too big or too small. All of your support is greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions or would like to donate an item, please contact Auction Coordinator Laura Villmer, 573-760-3968.
